Join us for the 26th anniversary of the Budweiser Illinois Blues Festival at the Peoria Riverfront this August 29 & 30, 2014. Considered one of the top Blues festivals in the Midwest, the Budweiser Illinois Blues Festival features two days of internationally recognized Blues artists and much more! A popular addition to our festival is the “Blues Lessons” featuring musician workshops and history of the blues educational seminars. Peoria has a long tradition and has always been a major influence in blues music. It began with the days when the blues masters would travel from Chicago, down the Illinois River to St. Louis, and then on to New Orleans. Peoria was, and still is, the place to stop! Even the blues men and women knew the famous cliché, “Will It Play In Peoria?”
